Tartan Media Group, Inc. announces today the appointment of Gail Ann Montank to Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Tartan Media Group Inc. She will head up corporate expenditures and funding matters and will oversee the client services' division.

 

Montank's primary areas of responsibility include maintaining existing and new client relations and managing the financial controls for corporate as well as subsidiary divisions. As the chief executive, she will work with Lee Van Kirk, President and CEO of Tartan, to set business strategy and direction of TMG's explosive growth, as well as being responsible for the execution and measurement of future company projects.

 

According to Van Kirk “Gail Ann's experience in the “operational” side of call center support will position TMG to accommodate our larger clients. Call center management is a rare commodity in today's marketing arena. Gail Ann Montank not only understands call centers but possesses the ability to train and motivate both management and agents alike. TMG is fortunate to have someone of her leadership quality.”

 

Montank has been involved in sales, customer care and client services for many years. She has managed inbound and outbound call centers in the telecommunications and vacation ownership industries. Her ability to understand the real "hardwired customer service" side of a call center is a rare commodity.

 

In addition, Montank owned a model and talent agency. Representing her talent, she negotiated contracts with such noteworthy clients as Sears, J.C. Penney's, Mercedes Benz, American Crew, Stu Segal Productions, Warner Brothers, Unsolved Mysteries, just to mention a few. She also worked as an customer service trainer and consultant in the dental industry.
